Social events are an important part of life at MKDRS. Our Chanukah, Purim and Sukkah Decorating Parties are always popular with both members and friends.

In 2023 we launched a new social programme, with events every two months.

Our Board Games evening, led by Mr Raphael Colman, experienced board games facilitator, was a great success. We hope that Raph will join us again next year for another session.

An Afternoon of Laughter

MKDRS is pleased to welcome the Maccabi Improvisational Drama Group from London to entertain and amuse us for an afternoon of hilarious improv drama.  The Maccabi Drama Group has been going for about four decades and brings together people who enjoy drama improvisation.

The group meets weekly and invites anyone from novices to professionals to enjoy a couple of hours escaping from reality.  They use a selection of drama exercises and improv games to explore the rudiments of acting and create scenes from ideas suggested by the group.  Every session is different, hilarious and often quite silly.

The Maccabi Drama group will present a series of comedy improv sketches at MKDRS on the 26th of March at 3pm.  Audience participation is not required.  All you have to do is come and enjoy the comedy sketches.  The group will ask for suggestions from the audience and anyone who feels like trying out some improv skills will be welcome to join them.
