Predominantly teaching Performing Arts, Engineering, Business and Media & Digital Technologies courses, the College’s Chaffron Way Campus boasts a multi-million pound television studio and production gallery, commercial day-care nursery and state-of-the-art engineering workshops.
#8: There are great employment prospects.
More and more head offices are based in or are moving to Milton Keynes, with large employers such as Santander and Network Rail and retailers such as Argos employing thousands of people. Milton Keynes is also well placed for employment prospects in places like Northampton and Oxfordshire.
Milton Keynes has a lower than average unemployment rate and the average wage is amongst the highest in the South East.
#7: You don’t get stuck in traffic as often and driving is less stressful.
While it's true that there has been a deluge of new housing estates being built across the area, resulting in more cars on our roads, our efficient, American-style grid system means the traffic still usually flows freely. It’s easy to find your way and there is always more than one way to reach a destination. You can usually travel from one side of Milton Keynes to the other within 15 minutes!
#6: We have great schools (both independent and public):
We have some fantastic schools in Milton Keynes and the surrounding villages, plus it's so much easier to get a place in your preferred school!
Recent figures released by Milton Keynes Council show that 99% of pupils starting school for the first time in Milton Keynes last autumn were offered one of their preferred schools.
The figures show that more pupils than ever, 91.8%, have been offered their first preference - up three percent on last year’s number.
Almost six percent were allocated their second preference, with the remainder being offered their third or fourth choices.

There is also a very large market right in the middle of the shopping centre, where you can even get a shawarma!

We have excellent transport links and can easily commute to London and other major towns and cities like Oxford, Northampton, Birmingham etc by train and car. London is within 40 minutes by train. What's not to love?!
#1: A good choice of kosher food is available.
A choice of chilled, frozen and dry kosher food is available from the major supermarkets. Kosher for Passover products are also available.
